Where deleted photos go — and how to get the space back

When Novaz Cleaner deletes photos or videos, iOS moves them to the Recently Deleted album — a safety net that keeps them for up to 30 days.

Get the space back now

1. Open the Photos app.
2. Scroll to Utilities and open Recently Deleted (unlock with Face ID if asked).
3. Tap Select, then Delete All.

Recover a photo

1. Open Recently Deleted in Photos.
2. Tap Select and choose the photos you want back.
3. Tap Recover.
