Where deleted photos go — and how to get the space back
When Novaz Cleaner deletes photos or videos, iOS moves them to the Recently Deleted album — a safety net that keeps them for up to 30 days.
Get the space back now
- Open the Photos app.
- Scroll to Utilities and open Recently Deleted (unlock with Face ID if asked).
- Tap Select, then Delete All.
Recover a photo
- Open Recently Deleted in Photos.
- Tap Select and choose the photos you want back.
- Tap Recover.

- Can I recover photos after emptying Recently Deleted?
- Not from your iPhone. If you use iCloud Photos or have a backup, check there.
